Jo passed away in 2023 aged 30, from an Aneurysm. In the days before his death Jo experienced problems with his neck. The news of his death was announced by bodybuilder and friend Noel Deyzel via Instagram on July 1, 2023. It was also confirmed the following day by his ex-girlfriend Nicha.
