Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four kids born August 9th, 1976 in Beaumont Puy of Domme. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist, and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to pursue her interest in theatre. It was in stark contrast to an earlier desire to be a primatologist due to the fact that she loved monkeys. Her rise to fame as an actress in her early years was swift and marked by her early successes. After completing her studies and acting, she appeared on the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+. She won the Most Outstanding Young Actress award at Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her career as an actress. Tautou, who attended in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and was a student there from young age, has disavowed her Catholic childhood. She now declares herself to be non-Catholic. Along with her acting career she also pursued a modeling career. She is also the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is sometimes referred to as the Chanel Muse. Apart from her acting work she also has an interest in photography. Recently, she exhibited a selection photos in the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and media who scrutinized her following her emergence on the scene as Amelie. Additionally, there are several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou shot to stardom and international fame with her debut role as the lead in the film Le Fabuleux Destin de l'Amelie Poulain.
